Born in Tokyo, Kae is a London-based, half-Japanese and Chinese filmmaker. After a decade-long career in international fashion and beauty production, her passion for cinema inspired her to pivot into filmmaking, where she gained hands-on experience in various on-set roles. Her debut short film, Moon Rabbit (2018), screened at numerous festivals, including the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, the Kerry International Film Festival, and the Norwich Film Festival.
